If gay marriage is legalized, why isn polygamy?

0

Gay marriage isn’t about love and commitment, it’s about tax breaks and property rights. It’s also about sticking a thumb in the eye of those who treasure marriage as a sacred intuition between a man and a woman. Additionally, supporting gay marriage shows that you are open minded and enlightened. Polygamy doesn’t enjoy this protection from the far left. Gay marriage is just the latest assault on the intuition of marriage. Marriage is a commitment before God (yes, with a capital G) to share your life with someone. Not something to be entered into lightly in order to get a tax break, insurance or anything else. It also isn’t something you enter in with someone, knowing full well that your commitment isn’t solid, (it just is fun to play house) and it’s OK to get a divorce in a few years. If I keep going on that subject, it’s going to become a rant. Hope this answers your question.
