Yes- I had b/g fraternal twins with my last pregnancy (no twins in our family). I found out at my 7 week appointment that I was having twins. There were 2 sacs and 2 little “beans”. If you are having twins, make sure you have the right doctor for you. After my 2nd appointment, I switched doctors. The original dr. told me that there was no way that they could hear 2 seperate heartbeats (with the doppler) – and that was not ok with me. I had miscarried before and was not willing to risk it with twins. The dr. I ended up with was AWESOME. I had an ultrasound done at EVERY appointment, due to the fact that an ultrasound is the only sure way of seeing/hearing 2 heartbeats. Best of luck ! ! !
