With a simple return I wouldn’t use either one. I would do the free e-file through the IRS website. You won’t miss any deductions and you won’t pay fees for services or software that you don’t need. If you don’t own a house and didn’t make large contributions to charity, then you likely want to take the standard deduction so everything is pretty simple.

i would go with taxact.com,it’s free,but everytime they ask you do you want to go with deluxe,just keep saying no and at the end they will ask if you want to do a data,just say no.if you have to file a state tax form they will charge you to do that.the federal one is the only one that’s free.H&R block and Turbo Tax will do the federal and state for a low price.i like H&R better,because they back up there filing and seen to always get you the most money.
