If I join the Reduced Fare EasyPay program, what happens to my old Reduced-Fare MetroCard?
A. It is deactivated within two weeks after you receive your new Reduced-Fare EasyPay MetroCard. Try to use up any money on the old card. You can get a refund for any money left on the card when it is deactivated by returning it to MetroCard Customer Claims, 2 Broadway, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10004 by mail. You cannot transfer balances to your new EasyPay MetroCard.
