If I leave my current company for another job, and get laid off shortly after joining the new company, will I be able to claim unemployment benefits?
If you are laid off from your new company and initiate a claim, you will be asked to provide a list of your employers during the last 15 months. Your eligibility will be determined based on your most recent job but also any previous employment and earnings with other employers during the 12 to 15 months preceding the filing of your claim.
