If I want to learn scriptwriting, do I need to join any of the screenwriting schools or scriptwriting schools instead of a creative writing graduate school?
If you are interested in learning scriptwriting or screenwriting, you may not want to join a screenwriting school which limits your job opportunities to screen writing only. So if you join any specific courses like novel writing courses, poetry creative writing course, creative writing fiction course, creative writing nonfiction course, creative writing story course, technical writing courses, film screenwriting course etc. You will limit your job opportunities to that particular area only. Instead if you join a creative writing college or graduate writing school you will have option to choose from various writing fields.
