If I want to recommend investment options from each of the three plans, can I use one form to enroll my client in CollegeAdvantage? Will my client receive one consolidated statement or three?
A. If you wish to have your clients invest in options from the direct plan and both advisor plans, you will need to complete a separate account application for each plan. You can open a direct account online at www.collegeadvantage.com. To enroll in the advisor plans you will need to complete an account application from BlackRock or Putnam. Your client will receive three separate account statement each quarter. The Ohio Tuition Trust Authority will track total contributions for all plans for purposes of monitoring the maximum contribution limit and for account aggregation for tax reporting purposes.
