If Im getting evicted, do i still have to pay?

Since you are being evicted for noise complaints, and assumeing you are up to date with your rent, No you won’t have to finish paying your June and July rent, your not there, and they are happy you are out of there.

Breaching your lease does NOT relieve you of your responsibility to complete the payments on the lease…otherwise everyone would be doing it to avoid paying. Landlord has the right to sue you for back rent, attorney fees, court costs, late fees and the balance of the remaining lease.

The answer is not as simple as it may seem. You CAN be held responsible for the rent until the end of the lease. If not then anyone who wanted to break a lease would simply break one of the rules and get their landlord to evict them. You were served with a 30 day eviction notice and you have chosen to move out rather than fight the eviction in court? This may be a bad choice. You may want to move out and also request a court hearing. Let a judge specify whether or not you have to pay the balance of the rent. Going to court once your landlord has filed doesn’t cost you anything then you have the ruling from the judge to fall back on.

The landlord has an obligation to try renting your apartment. If he fails to rent it, you are legally liable.

Yes you are. You are responsible for all rents until the landlord can rerent the apartment.
