If John F. Kennedy stole 1960 election, where is the proof?
There has never been conclusive proof but there are strong accusations against the Chicago ‘Daley Machine’, ie the democrat party apparatus in Illinois controlled by Chicago mayor Daley that they basically stole Illinois electoral votes for Kennedy. Chicago held back its voting totals until after even the remotest Illinois precinct had turned in their numbers, and then Chicago conveniently produced voting totals that gave Kennedy the state, despite Nixon’s lead there. And in Texas, the local mob and democrat party machine controlled by senator Lyndon Johnson has been accused of ‘ballot-stuffing’ (ie stuffing pre-filled-in Kennedy-ballots in ballot boxes) and even going so far as to have cattle registered to vote and they voted Kennedy. Nixon declined to contest the election.
There were voting irregularities in the 1960 election, but, for the good of the country (to preserve faith in the electoral system), Nixon conceded the race. Those irregularities were never thorougly investigated, so we can’t say the election was ‘stolen.’ But, it is a stark contrast with 2000, when neither candidate found moral courage to equal that of Richard M. Nixon – the man who had to resign in disgrace because of Watergate. At least we’re finally getting rid of Bush II – that we’d even consider giving Gore another crack at the White House is chilling, though.
