If prunes are dehydrated plums, where does prune juice come from?

This took me awhile to understand as I don’t partake of prunes, plums, or any juice from such fruits. I try not to eat anything that will make me loose control over my bodily fluids.

A point worth raisin, indeed!! Dehydrated grapes are called raisins, but the juice is always referred to as grape juice. Dehydrated plums are called prunes, but you don’t hear it referred to as plum juice, always as prune juice. Just thinking about it can get you plum tuckered out.

Prunes are just like taxpayers… They’ll figure out a way to squeeze every last drop of juice out of us until we’re dry as an Egyptian Mummy…
