It looks like it depends on what state they are/were in, and how hard the county clerk or other election official works to make sure their records are accurate! Yours would count in California, apparently–but don’t go and die to test this out, please! Some election officials actually scan the obits daily and make sure no one is listed that is on their records as having recieved an absentee ballot. Others probably don’t take the time/are too busy. 31 states allow voters to vote early, and in the time that those are sent out and the actual election date there is plenty of time for numerous deaths! So I’m sure it happens all the time. There is also the question regarding military deaths and voting….
