The bond amount has been set at $90 million and will fund construction of a 250,000-square-foot (170,000 SF finished and 80,000 SF unfinished) new central along with furnishings and materials. Additional monies raised by the Austin Public Library Friends Foundation will go towards enhancements and an operating trust for the Library. For more information, go to www.austinlibrary.org.
