If the “Ascent Fax for RightFax Connector” is installed installed on a non-RightFax server, the HTTP/HTTPS feature will be supported as long as: • You have a Captaris RightFax 9.x server installed and running successfully. • A RightFax COM license installed and enabled on the RightFax 9.x server. COM is part of the following RightFax solutions. • RightFax Enterprise Server • RightFax Integration Module • The RightFax client software is installed, configured to the RightFax 9.x server, and running on a pc with: • An Ascent Fax supported version of Ascent Capture installed and running successfully. (This can be the Ascent Capture server or an Ascent Capture workstation.) • Ascent Fax 1.0 installed, configured, and running successfully. • Be sure that the Ascent Fax Configuration menu has been configured correctly and that the connection has been tested successfully.
