If the patient has other health insurance with pharmacy coverage, will TRICARE pay their pharmacy co-pays/cost shares?

In most cases, TRICARE will pay the co-pays/cost shares for prescriptions. This is dependent upon the amount your primary insurance paid on the prescription and if the required information has been submitted. The annual deductible will apply if the pharmacy used is not contracted with TRICARE. Pharmacy receipts must be received by TRICARE within one year from the date the prescription was received.
