Because many FMGs study for USMLE while working full-time, they usually do not have as much time per day as, say, a full-time medical student. Therefore they usually study for longer periods and have a lot more to catch up on since they have been out of school for many years already. B/c our system allows you to set your own pace but yet make sure you retain what you have learned, it’s especially useful for FMGs who have variable schedules due to work, life, family but who need to do well on the USMLE and who can’t afford to forget what they have previously learned/relearned.
