The statistical analysis tools in the greenMonitor Renewable Energy System monitoring software provide mean and standard deviation for temperatures between -30 and 120F in 5 degree intervals, and the same statistics for relative humidity from 0 to 100% in 5 percent intervals.  With these data, researches and teachers can easily explore the relationship between the elements and renewable energy production.  The impact of high ambient temperatures on solar power plant production are readily quantified.  The impact of ground fog, low clouds, and other causes of high relative humidity likewise are quantifiable and allow the research, teacher and student to future explore the environmental factors that impact power plant production.
