Hi Mishy, Your best bet is to check out the litters of Cockers on the Anti-Docking Alliance website here: http://www.anti-dockingalliance.co.uk . If there are no litters in your area then email them and ask for a list of Cocker breeders. Please be aware that alot of puppyfarmers do not dock because of the extra cost involved so make sure that the breeder that you buy from is reputable. Make sure that the breeder that you buy off of also carries out all the relevant genetic tests for Cockers (in my opinion this is far more important than being undocked) Cockers should be hip-scored, eye-tested (including gonioscopy) and DNA tested for PRA prior to breeding. Spaniels do have lovely tails, but some are very weak and are prone to splitting at the tip, it’s maybe an idea to discuss this with the breeder so as to avoid this happening (a split tail is incredibly difficult to mend).
