I’m buying a present for my niece’s first birthday. Any ideas?
An educational toy is always a good present for a young child. A one-year-old will likely like any gift he or she receives. Therefore the question should really be: “What is the most appropriate gift to give?” Because young children tend to stick things in their mouths that they shouldn’t, it is never good to give a young child a toy that could cut or scratch her mouth or face. Likewise, toys that are not made in the United States do not always meet the same safety requirements that toys made in the United States do. Therefore, it is sometimes risky to buy toys manufactured in foreign countries.
