I recommend a Southern Caribbean cruise to all my honeymoon clients. The islands you visit aren’t as crowded as the ones you typically visit on an Eastern or Western Caribbean cruise. On a Southern Caribbean cruise you visit places like: Barbados, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Dominica. These are gorgeous islands that aren’t as trampled as the other ones. The other plus of a Southern cruise is that you often leave from Puerto Rico. The added cost of getting to Puerto Rico is a deal-breaker for a lot of families. So typically you won’t see a ton of kids on a Southern Caribbean cruise. The type of cruise line you choose to go with will dictate how active you are. For honeymooners I usually suggest Royal Caribbean or Princess. I know you will be treated well on those cruise lines and they are not booze cruises. I would also suggest going for 7 days. Anything longer then that you will get a much older crowd (the retirement crowd) and that can be a little boring
