In general, they are looking for good grades (mostly A’s and B’s) in 7th and 8th grade, good grades on standardized tests and the high school entrance exams, involvement in some extracurricular activities (sports, drama, babysitting, 4-H, etc.), leadership or community service, a clean discipline record (nothing serious anyway), and recommendations from your current teachers. In addition, SHCP is looking for Catholic students involved in their parish community or non-Catholic students who are willing to integrate themselves into the school’s community of faith.
