If you are using Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 GI Bill) and are using MyCAA or ROTC funds, you can use your GI Bill to cover the balance of your tuition, but you must fill out the Request for Enrollment Certification form along with a copy of your approved MyCAA or ROTC benefit. If your payments have already been contracted by HPU, we will deduct the contract payment when we process your certification and you do not need to submit any additional paperwork. You do not need to send a copy to the VA. We will certify you for the cost of your tuition less the amount of your contract payment. The VA will pay the balance of your tuition according to your benefits, plus your housing and book allowance if you are eligible. You will use up entitlement proportional to your rate of pursuit (how many credits you are taking), regardless of how much money the VA pays out.
