ImageCraft Products FAQ-O-Matic : Licensing and Dongles : When licensing electronically, why did the hex string change?
The hex string changes with each licensing attempt. (Note, closing the registration window usually does not cause this string to change) Hitting the “License” button or re-installing the compiler will cause the number to change. If you request a license key, please do not hit the “License” button or re-install the compiler while you are waiting for a response. Either of these actions will invalidate the key that is being sent to you. On some machines, the hex string will be different every time the “Register Software” window is opened. This is OK. You may close the window and restart the IDE later to license. kristil@imagecraft.com, richard@imagecraft.
