In my crossandra field, some plants are found dry and got easily uprooted on pulling. What is the problem and hoe to control this?

It is due to the wilt infection. To control this, drench the soil around the plants with Methoxyethyl mercury chloride (Emisan) at 2 g/lit or carbendazim 0.5 ml/lit to manage this problem.
