Tempo follows interaction model #5 (using BPEL invoke activity). The main difference between models 4 and 5 is the use of the BPEL4People activity versus the standard BPEL <invoke>, so it's mostly a semantical modeling difference. If you're using a higher-level semantic model (e.g. BPMN) then you don't really see the difference other than when looking at the execution details.
