In the Gotrek & Felix novels you tend to play around a bit with the characters and events established by Kim Newman (writing as Jack Yeovil). Are you two friends?
I have met Kim a couple of times but would not claim to know him well. I do think he’s an excellent writer. I have never intentionally played with any of his characters although I often refer back to Detlief Sierck when I want to make references to a play simply because he was established as the Warhammer world’s William Shakespeare in previous novels.
