You’re a great mommy simply because you take the effort to find out whats best for your child. Buying pricey shoes has nothing to do with it. The most important thing to know is all the medical studies and reports on the ill-effects shoes have on our feet – especially the feet of young developing children. The links below show how too much padding does more harm than good as does arch supports. Feet become atrophic over time if thier not allowed to work and develop naturally. Allowing your child to walk barefoot often is great for allowing thier feet to strengthen and grow unencumbered. If you do put shoes on them then make sure there’s plenty of room both in length and in the width of the toe box. I assure you the natural shape of the front of the human foot is not diamond shaped.
