Department of Communication and Journalism, University of Kerala is a pioneer in the field of media and communication education in the state. It has been offering the Masters in Communication and Journalism for over 28 years now. Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) www.cdit.org, an autonomous institution under the Government of Kerala is a pioneer in the field of Video Communication and training with a state-of-the- art Digital Video production and training facilities. C-DIT has been running a Diploma programme in Science and Development Communication for over 9 years. It has also been offering Diploma programmes in Multimedia designing and Animation film designing for over 4 years now.
