No, it’s not too much of an age difference. Most people think it is, but feelings are feelings, and if you like someone who’s younger, what’s the difference? She’s already at the age where people start dating, so I don’t see why not. The only thing is that her parents will not like her dating a much older guy because they will feel like you are going to expect too much from her, sexually. I don’t like him she’s waiting to see what will happen with her ex. This means that she wants him more than you… but considering she is in grade 9, I’m sure it wasn’t a very serious relationship, and she could forget about him pretty soon. If she does get back together with him, it probably won’t last. She is in grade 9.
