$4000 isn’t bad, but before you buy it, visit Zales, they have a GREAT policy, and right now they have some OVER 1 Ct. sets on clearance, + 30% off. Great deals, also, they have a “trade up” policy where if you ever wanted to trade it for something bigger, they give you full price. (But say if it was $2500, you would have to buy a $5000) We bought my ring from there and it is a 1 1/2 ct. solitaire for the price of what you are going to pay for the other. Also, don’t pay the extra thousands for a certified one, they are all the same, some just have numbers stamped on them for insurance purposes. Zales has a full 100% replacement guarantee for just a little more money. I hope you can find what you need! Congrats! Oh and one more thing, white gold is actually prettier than platinum, I think, and you can have gold resurfaced fairly cheap if it ever starts to lose it’s sparkle!!
