Is 7 too young for a little girl to enter puberty?

While it is possible for girls to enter puberty that early, it's pretty rare when that occurs and there would be outward signs. So I would be skeptical about this being related to puberty. I would take her to the pediatrician and discuss these issues with him/her. The doctor can check her out physically to make sure there is nothing wrong, and can also recommend a counselor or therapist for your daughter and/or your family who can help you work everything out. She might actually be suffering from depression or another mental issue or this could just be a discipline issue that might be easily addressed. When there is a major behavioral change in children this age, there is usually a reason for it, even if it is not obvious to you. Is it possible she is being bullied at school? Does she spend lots of time with other adults away from you during the day? Have you talked with them about this issue? Is there any chance at all that she is being abused by one of them?
