If you had any caffeine recently (in the past 6 hours) or if you did any type of heavy physical activity in the past few hours it could have contributed to your high heart rate. It can also be higher if you are worried or anxious about anything. I gave blood once and everything was fine, normal heart rate. A year later I went to give blood (had to caffeine that day and I had been helping out at the blood drive for the past 4 hours so I wasn’t doing anything physical) and they took my HR and it was 124 BPM. They told me to relax for 15 minutes, so I did, I went back and it was 127. They told me I should see a doctor immediatey but I didn’t because I felt fine. Needless to say…nothing bad happened. A year later I tried to give again and it was 117 BPM. Still no doctor. A year later and i’m still fine. I am also pretty young and not overweig
