I wouln’t bother because the saddle will almost certainly not fit your small pony and might make him sore and uncomfortable in his back, which might cause him to start bucking and missbehaving. Also, if you are only small, you might not achieve the correct position in the saddle and will find yourself slipping about a lot. Wintec saddles, from my experience, are usually very good and they make saddles in different sizes to suit all types of pony and horse fairly cheaply. The comfort of your pony under saddle should be of upmost importance to you, because badly fitting saddles can cause a lot of problems, both physical and behavioural. Surely you don’t want your pony to be in pain? I advise you to consult a professional saddle fitter or riding instructor to help you in chosing the right saddle. Good luck and happy riding!
