Is a boating holiday really suitable for small children?

0

We recognise that young children are the boaters of the future. For young children boating can be a truly magical experience that will live with them for ever. However, this will only happen if parents get the boating logistics and adult/child ratio right. A less than satisfactory boating experience will be had if there are more very young children than adults in the boat crew. At the boatyard, we can teach you to operate a boat single-handedly. However, remember that you will normally need at least one other crew member for lock operation, apart from the helmsman. Young children should always be supervised on activity holidays. Lifejackets for non swimmers are essential. We provide these on free loan. Please ask on arrival.
