Is a bull mastiff cross pitbull a safe dog to have?
My friend actually has a bull mastiff/pit mix. He is very intimidating but is a big baby to them. He loves to play, visits dog parks often, and is protective of his home. He is a great dog, but they took him to obedience school early and of course, had him neutered. I want to mention, that just because this dog is the type you want does not mean your new dog will be exactly like this. Every dog is different and it especially depends on how they are raised. Mastiffs and Pits can be great dogs, in the right hands. They take a more experienced owner with proper knowledge of how to raise a dog.
