Is a cervical length of 3 cm at 22 weeks pregnant normal or worrying?

I am high risk due to previous losses and have a cerclage in with this pregnancy. I go every 2 weeks for a cervical length check and mine is currently 3.7. I asked the Dr. what is ok and he said anything longer than 2 cm is good. However if mine goes from 3.7 to 2.7 then of course there would be concern. What I am saying I guess is it is not only how long your cervix is but also if it is changing (shortening). My answer to your question is I would say that it is normal. If you want you can ask your Dr. to check again next time they do an ultrasound to make sure there is no change in length. Congrats!
