Is a cumulative final examination in AP Psychology helpful?

A cumulative final examination should be given. Some publisher-produced test banks have cumulative final examinations. This final should be given no later than the first week in May so that it can be corrected, returned, and reviewed at least a week prior to the AP Exam. I usually give my students a study guide of approximately 300 multiple-choice questions and 20 essays to review. I then pick 100 multiple-choice questions and two of the 20 essays from the study guide for their actual final examination.
