Is a month a reasonable lifespan for a clarinet reed?

0

A month is a completely reasonable lifespan for a clarinet reed. Most of my reeds last 2-4 weeks. Do you buy reeds as singles or do you buy them per box. It is MUCH MUCH cheaper than buying four single reeds, no matter what brand reed. Also, sooner or later you may want to change reed brands. I normally use a Vandoren, which is a bit more costly than a Rico reed, but its better quality, and they normally last longer for me. Overall, yes, that is a reasonable lifespan, and you should buy per box, not per reed. 1. A box will last longer, and 2. A box is much cheaper than buying ten single reeds.
