Is a Series 1935 dollar bill worth more than a dollar?

It’s only worth as much as someone else will pay for it. A series 1935 dollar should say across the top “silver certificate” if I’m not mistaken. These haven’t been printed in years (I want to say since 1950, but don’t quote me on that one). They are worth more to a collector.
