ABAP is a language which is specifically used for SAP development. SAP is the world’s most popular ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software package. I don’t know about the US market, but here in India a lot of offshore work related to SAP implementations is coming and hence ABAP is a very marketable skill here. Whether he can find a job or not will depend on how much experience he has with ABAP and at what designation he is currently.
