Yeah, by law it is permitted in both these countries. You should be careful where you drink it though. Muslims are easily offended by things that seem completely normal to us. Just don’t go and open your beer in front of a mosque. A friend of mine moved to Bahrain about five years ago and in that country alcohol is prohibited by law. He was not an active drinker by like any normal person he liked to have a beer or two in the evening to relax.
