Is Amazon screwing self-published authors from Lightning Source?
I understand your dissatisfaction, but this is always the case when you are just starting to get acquainted with a product, and have not yet fully understood it, just deal with this issue again and give it a second chance. I also had a negative experience buying on Amazon, but I was advised to always consider the list of top sellers, you can see it here https://www.findthisbest.com/sellers/amazon . You just need to learn all the nuances and shades and it will be much easier for you to sell. AMZScout is a nice website which might help you with that.
Question: I read about your problems getting Amazon to display the cover image from your self-published book. I too have published a book through Lightning Source and am encountering the same grief: no cover image for my new title on Amazon. Amazon blamed the cover image fiasco on Lightning Source, and I don’t have any evidence to the contrary. But Amazon has been sitting on my “Search Inside the Book” submission for several weeks now, and apparently it’s too much trouble for them to acknowlege receipt of the book. No
