Is Americas past colonialism in Africa to blame for that continents wars and famine?

America takes some of the blame but not all. The French, English and Dutch governments ravaged the Continent of Africa for centuries. In places like to Congo, where there is an abundance of natural resources, the Dutch raped the land and exploited the people. In the early 1960’s, a charismatic African leader sought to rid the Congo of European influence, when he became the first elected Congolese Prime Minister. His name was Patrice Lumumba. He was killed in 1961, by the American CIA and Dutch police when he sought the Soviet Union’s help to stop a Dutch instigated uprising in his country. That is just many of the sad true stories of Africa. It is sad that the idiots on this page do not know history.
