No, a valid email address is not required to register for AnimeDates, but you will not be able to access of the service’s features without one. Without an email address you may still register, login, setup a profile and upload images among other features. Although confirmation of your valid email address is required to send messages to other users in order to curb abuse. Also, in the event that you forget or lose your password, a valid e-mail address will be needed in order to reset your account.
