Is anyone else scared about getting their GCSE results?

0

I did GCSEs quite a long time ago, but I do remember that waiting for results was quite a scary thing at the time. Most people are probably scared about their results, because from your perspective this is a pivotal moment in your life. But! Although you probably have a lot riding on the outcome of your results, if things haven’t gone as well as you’d hoped, there are always other opportunities to redeem yourself, either by resits or other avenues of learning such as NVQs. It is natural to fear the unknown, which is probably how you’re feeling at the moment, but this is just one of the first of many potentially important moments in your life where you will fear the unknown. How you deal with that fear is the most important thing. If you’ve worked hard, then rather than fear your results you should be excited! If you know that you haven’t tried as well as you could have done, then don’t fret, no one wants to see you fail in life. If you put the effort in, you will succeed in the end!
