Is anyone making money as an Expert?

Many Experts or really Expert users who signed up with a specific Expert Contributors program made money under the model of paid content, paid articles, and revenue generated by page views. We paid out a substantial amount to people who signed up to be Expert Contributors who created content under many different expertise topics. That business model wasn’t sustainable though and just about every major site which based their business off of this model has for the most part been killed off by Google. Experts now make money promoting their personal brand associated with their area of expertise.
We now invest in helping contributors focus primarily on one area of expertise and contributing the highest quality content in that area. So for you that most likely would mean choosing between Parenting, Writing, and Hair Care and deciding which area you would want to focus on and build an audience in. We are building additional tools and membership features which allow those contributors to earn more by providing high quality content and interactions. (For example, we have on the road map to build a high quality services marketplace for calls, answers, consultations in certain areas of expertise.)
