Is anyone taking Klonopin for anxiety?
I do take kolonpin for panic attacks and anxiety. Since I’m a former drug addict I was afraid to try it but my pdoc thought it best to get it under control right away or I would end up in the hospital. I agreed to take .5mg twice a day. It already seems to me the dose needs to be higher but we both(pdoc) are afraid of addiction. I’ve only been on it for 5 weeks, but have been on ativan before and that was hard to come off of. Most of these medications including AD and AP are tirated down slowly. Some people have a harder time then others. I personally think it has to do with the dose your on. Just remember kolonpin is highly addictive, most pdocs are very careful about this although some aren’t. You have to be your own advocate. Feel free to email me anytime. Take care and never give up!
