Is aromatherapy like scented candles?
Not really. Scented candles do not provide any therapeutic benefits, and often times the fragrances in them can make us feel sick. Scented products typically do not use high quality essential oils – rather they use low quality oils and chemical scents, which is why so many people have bad reactions or don’t feel so good when they are exposed to scented candles and products. What we like to do is is buy unscented bees wax or soy candles with natural cotton wicks, and for the ‘scent’ part we will simply diffuse our essential oils – it’s much safer and more healthy.
