Is Baby Boot Camp safe for pregnant women as well as new moms?
Yes. The structure of all Baby Boot Camp classes follows the guidelines set by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Council on Exercise. In addition to being trained and certified by Baby Boot Camp, instructors are required to have one or more current group exercise or personal trainer certification from a nationally recognized organization such as the American Council on Exercise, Aerobics and Fitness Association of America or the American College of Sports Medicine. Pregnant women may participate for the duration of their pregnancy with a physician’s note and the absence of any contra-indications. Moms must be at least 6 weeks postpartum to participate; 8 weeks postpartum for c-section. Consult with your doctor before starting any exercise program.
