Is Barack Obama the next Malcom X?
No. I think Barack Obama is the next Jesse Jackson. Malcom X was a very committed man who had no problem stating his views in language that could be “misunderstood” or “misinterpreted.” As an orator, he makes Obama look like he is tongue-tied. Malcolm had no political agenda. He grew up distrusting whies, even hating them. But during his transition from the Nation of Islam to a more traditional Islam, he went to Mecca and saw “blond-haired, blue-eyes” white people who shared his faith. That’s when he realized that not all whites were devils — and he said so. Malcom X was a product of the black community and understood it well. Obama grew up in a more middle-class environment. He does not have the insights Malcom had, nordoes he have Malcom’s courage. He knew he was putting his life at risk by turning away from Ilijah Muhammad and the Black Muslims, but that’s what he did. Although I never agreed with Malcolm X’s believes or methods, I will admit that he was consistent and we always knew how he felt and where he stood. The same cannot be said of Mr. Obama. Take this whole fiasco with Rev. Wright. Obama was in his church for 20 years, was married by him and had his children baptized by him. If Obama can say that he was unaware of Wright’s rantings, one of two things is certain. Either he really knew and is a flat-out liar, or he really didn’t know and he is blind and unaware of his suroundings. Either way, Obama displays nothing that would impress me regarding character, integrity and trustworthiness.
No. Obama does not have ties to the black community other than his color. His father was Kenyan and his mother was white. This means no one in his family was ever a slave, never experienced segregation, and never experienced anything the black community experienced. He was educated in Indonesia and Hawaii, after that Ivy League schools. I don’t think he really experienced what all of you claim to have experienced or what your father, grandfather, or great-grandfather experienced. Obama is a fraud using you like Wright to get what he wants. Obama needs your vote. Wright needs your money. Go buy Wrights book as soon as it hits news stands. He will be counting his money in his million dollar house in the white neighborhood he now lives. Obama, if elected, will be working to take care of the place and people he has real ties and shares a real heritage, Kenya. Now all of you Obamanites keep working hard to get Barack the Presidency, Kenya needs him.
