Is baseball still a big game in the USA?
Its is a huge game still! But it will never be as big as the NFL is here in the States. People stop what they are doing on Sundays to watch football. 16 games a year in the NFL-even if a fans teams isn’t playing that week-they still tune in and watch other games. This is usually not the case in MLB. Being in the military, we don’t get many MLB games broadcast to us while we are over seas-not until we get into the MLB postseason atleast. But we DO GET the NFL broadcast to us EVERY SINGLE WEEK. That alone tells you alot. If you talk to the average American Male -and alot of females they will say “yeah, I love football”. Ask them about baseball and half will say “It’s boring-I hate watching it”. I love baseball, but this is the way it is viewed in the States.
